Please let me know how to configure motion detection.

By using the motion detection function, you will be able to perform the following:

Motion detection utilization (examples)

• I want to play a video recorded when a motion is captured.
• I want to record a video only when a motion is captured.
• When a motion is captured in a video, I want to display it as an event.

How to configure motion detection

1.  Click [ Camera Settings ].
   
   
   
2. On the [ Motion ] tab, enable [ Motion Detection ].
   
   
   
3. Select an option for [ Sensitivity ], and drag the area where you want to detect motions to select it.

   *The larger the number is, the higher the sensitivity will be. If you set "0" for [ Sensitivity ], the motion detection function will be turned off for the area.

   
   
   
4. If you click [ OK ], you will complete configuring motion detection.
   

How to use motion detection

How to play videos that captured motions

1. Click the motion detection icon.
   
   
   
2. If you click the thumbnail, the video in which motions have been detected will be played.

How to configure the recording settings using motion detection

1. Click [ Camera Settings ].
   
   
   
2. On the [ Recording ] tab, select the recording settings using motion detection, and set the recording schedule.
   
   
   
3. If you click [ OK ], you will complete configuring the recording settings using motion detection.

How to set events using motion detection

1. Click [ Camera Rules ].
   
   
   
2. Click [ ADD ].
   
   
   
3. Select an event and action respectively.
   Event: Motion on Camera (Starts / Stops)
   Action: Bookmark/ Send email/ etc.
   
   
   
4. If you click [ OK ], the event rule will be set.

   For the event rule, if you set "send email" as a rule, the following message will be sent when a motion is detected.
